SSA24CD
The SSA24CD Semi Solid Acoustic 24 fret Custom Deluxe. This is really, a Solid Guitar made to look like a semi acoustic. The body is made from 2 slabs of Mahogany the bottom and sides from one solid slab, which is routed to the Control Cavity then a second slab of Mahogany set on top and then, shaped to arch front and arch back and routed for pickups/controls and neck pocket. the body. The stylised sound holes are then also routed. Then the entire body is covered with a veneer of AAAA quilted maple and edgbound, The three piece maple neck is set and the headstock also covered in a veneer to match the body. The neck is a comfortable soft "C" and the 24 fret indian ebony fingerboard is also edgbound. Full carved volute to the base of the headstock. then the entire guitar is finished in a warm tobacco sunburst, Planet Waves Locking Self Trimming tuners. Solid brass chrome plated Truss rod cover over the BiFlex Truss Rod. This is also engraved with the Gordon Guitars Logo. Bone Nut, 24 super jumbo 3mm frets. The Guitar is formed in such a way that full and unfettered access is made available to all 24 frets. Pair of Split Coil Humbuckers (choice of pickups price dependant Epiphone/MMK45/DiMarzio/Bare Knuckle etc ) with coil taps. Master Volume and Master Tone Cntrols and three way toggl;e switch. This guitar designed and made by hand, without the use of CNC cutting machines (I do not actually have anything against CNC it is just that I like each of my hand made guitars to be individual and this way no two guitars that I make are ever exactly the same. Each build then becomes a one off in its own right) this guitar is now living in Devonshire
CCDC22 Prototype
The CCDC22 is a Solid 22 fret Custom. This is really Solid Guitar of Mahogany the bottom which is routed to the Control Cavity The one piece mahogany long tenon set neck . The neck is a comfortable soft "C" and the 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard is also edgbound. Full carved volute to the base of the headstock. then the entire guitar is finished in a metallic gun metal grey, Planet Waves Locking Self Trimming tuners. Solid brass chrome plated Truss rod cover over the BiFlex Truss Rod. It has a zero nut/fret. This is also engraved with the Gordon Guitars Logo. Bone Nut, 22 super jumbo 3mm frets. The Guitar is formed in such a way that full and unfettered access is made available to all 22 frets. Pair of Epiphone Humbuckers (choice of pickups price dependent Epiphone/MMK45/DiMarzio/Bare Knuckle etc ) Two Volume and Two Tone Controls and three way toggl;e switch. This guitar designed and made by hand, without the use of CNC cutting machines (I do not actually have anything against CNC it is just that I like each of my hand made guitars to be individual and this way no two guitars that I make are ever exactly the same. Each build then becomes a one off in its own right) The base Price for this guitar is £750 (obviously if you choose to have a matched pair of BK Mississippi Queen Humbuckers then the cost of these have to be added) In my honest opinion this is the prototype for the whole CC series. and there will shortly be a Deluxe model and a semi acoustic model. The CCDC24CD is a Solid 24 fret Custom. This is the big brother to the CCDC22. This is really Solid Guitar of Mahogany the bottom which is routed to the Control Cavity The one piece mahogany long tenon set neck . The top is AAAAA Flamed maple is carved and edgebound in multiply The neck is a comfortable soft "C" and the 24 fret Enony fingerboard is also edgbound. Full carved volute to the base of the headstock. then the guitar is finished in a brown tobacco sunburst, Planet Waves Locking Self Trimming tuners. Solid brass chrome plated Truss rod cover over the BiFlex Truss Rod. It has a zero nut/fret. This is also engraved with the Gordon Guitars Logo. Bone Nut, 24 super jumbo 3mm frets. The Guitar is formed in such a way that full and unfettered access is made available to all 24 frets. Pair of Epiphone Humbuckers (choice of pickups price dependent Epiphone/MMK45/DiMarzio/Bare Knuckle etc ) Two Volume and Two Tone Controls and three way toggl;e switch. The CCESA24CD is a semi acoustic 24 fret Custom. This is really great all around semi and is perfect gor all styles of music with its long tenon set neck . The neck is a comfortable soft "C" and the 24 fret Ebony fingerboard like the body is also edgboud with multi ply binding . Full carved volute to the base of the headstock. then the entire guitar is finished in a brown tobacco sunburst to match its little broth the solid body CCDC24CD, Planet Waves Locking Self Trimming tuners.
